How to sign out of Netflix on all devices
The short answer
Open Netflix Account settings, choose “Sign out of all devices,” then change your password to fully lock everyone out.
Sign out of Netflix everywhere
- Go to Netflix.com in a browser and sign in.
- Click your profile icon, then go to Account.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Select Sign out of all devices.
- Confirm.
What happens next
- All signed-in devices are logged out
- It can take up to about 8 hours on some devices
- You’ll need to sign back in on your own TV, phone, and tablet
How to fully secure your account
After signing out of all devices, also do this:
- Change your Netflix password
- Use a strong, unique password
- In Account > Security, remove unknown devices if shown
- Check your email for Netflix alerts about new sign-ins
When should you worry?
You should act right away if:
- You see profiles, shows, or watch history you don’t recognize
- Your email or password was changed without you
- You were charged for plan changes you didn’t make
- You shared your password and can’t control who still has access
If that happens, sign out all devices, change your password, and contact Netflix Help Center if access is still blocked.
